Your practices should optimize outcomes you want not what you want to avoid. Releases should be easy. Bug management can be hard.

If you don’t use a quality discipline like TDD, no problem. Remain open to the possibility you haven’t mastered it.

So, before debating what it is or isn’t with others who have put in that time — or using managerial power to stop people doing it…

“The death of agile” will mean that average capabilities and values alignment of people still embracing it will go up. And the number of people using it as an excuse for their organizational dysfunction will go down. Hype is not necessarily true nor false. Neither is bullshit.
