Found a decent way to speed read a non fiction book. Listen to it through text to speech at 2x while visually reading it. The two line up speed wise and I parse the information both aurally and visually.

Human grace isn’t a transaction. It’s a gift.

I lean to the Japanese view of artificial intelligence. If machines cross the line to sentience, they will experience suffering. They may feel anger but they will also gain empathy. AI is much more dangerous to the degree it is the thoughtless tool of sociopathic, selfish humans.

To paraphrase an old joke, how do you move a mountain? Well, first the mountain has to want to change.
